Thirty thousand years after the birth of the Universe, long after the introduction of evil is where this tale takes place. The Vegra were one of the many anthropomorphic beings, their features distinctly wolf. Krekel was a beautiful planet, full of deep lush forests. Snow storms and violent winds made the Northern Regions hard to inhabit. Vegrian folklore tells of Gods that live at the top of the tallest mountain, Kokonel. The mystic snowy forests of the north were sacred, filled with cosmic energy. It's here we find Vleg, a adolescent Vegra, on a Pilgrimage.

Ka took off from Tal's shoulders as he stood up. Stretching his arms wide, he inhaled a deep breath. Stretching every muscle and joint, he exhaled slowly, the tension in his body releasing. Now fully relaxed he leaned forward to gaze at the scenery below him. Slowing the flow of his will out through the bottom of his feet, he began to slowly descend through the cloud towards a giant lake underneath him.
